Anna Gumble, APRN PMHNP-BC

Medication Management, Supportive Therapy

Anna Gumble is the newest member of the Austin PsychCare team. She received her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of North Texas, her bachelor’s in nursing from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, and most recently, her master’s of science in nursing at the University of Texas at Austin.

Anna has touched the lives of patients in many diverse settings. In addition to her work as a psychiatric nurse, she has experience in pediatrics, adolescent medicine, and women’s health. She also stepped up as an Intensive Care Unit nurse at the height of COVID. Caring for and comforting these patients and their families inspired her to pursue a nursing role that allows her to provide both medication and psychotherapeutic support.

In addition to her clinical experience, Anna has conducted independent research and was an Integrated Behavioral Health Scholar during her master’s program. She is passionate about keeping up to date with the latest advancements in mental health care and providing the most up to date evidence based treatment.

Anna believes that the best patient care starts with a firm foundation of trust between patient and provider. This supportive yet collaborative relationship empowers patients to develop their own unique perspectives on what good mental health means to them and fully participate in their care.

In her practice, Anna strives to provide comprehensive support, with warmth, kindness, and education.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, camping, and spending time with her dog, cat, and husband (not necessarily in that order).

Anna is excited to join Austin PsychCare and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients.
